Polar Adventure Days

I love nothing more than a free Chicago Park District event! Free, family fun -- what's not to like? There is a particularly good event coming up that I want to tell you about.

On January 17th bundle up your gang and head out to Northerly Island (1400 S. Lynn White Drive) for Polar Adventure Days from noon until 4:00 p.m. The event includes snow shoeing, ice games, crafts and real live polar huskies (too cute). This family-friendly activity has something to offer kids of all ages.

Take this opportunity to embrace all that winter in Chicago has to offer! And you can sip on hot chocolate to warm up once you get home!
