Sometimes Moms and Dads need a night out without the kids - this is a universal truth.  But it isn't always so easy to get away for a few hours to catch a show or enjoy some adult conversation over a meal that doesn't include chicken nuggets.  And sometimes it can be really tough to find a good babysitter to make it all possible.  Check out these options for your next parent's night out.

Parent's Night Out at My Gym.   At the River Forest and Fullerton Avenue locations of My Gym, parents can treat their pajama-clad preschoolers to a night of pizza and a movie while they treat themselves to a night out.  The event takes place on Friday, February 20th from 6:00 until 9:00 for kids ages three and up.  Advance reservations are required so visit the website to learn more.

PJ Adventures at Bubbles Academy. On the first Friday of every month, Bubbles Academy offers a drop-off program from children ages 3 to 5 from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m.  Kids can come in their jammies and engage in fun activities around the night's theme.  For example, on March 6th, the there is Pirate and Mermaid. The price is $65 and includes pizza, crafts, creative movement and a yoga cool-down.

Family Saturday at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater. On Saturday, February 7th, parents can enjoy a performance of Living Green while the kiddos are entertained with storytelling, crafts, and cupcakes.   For families with children age four and up.  The show begins at 5:00.  Tickets are $48 each and babysitting is $5 per child.
